The Egyptian Healing Rods®
  If you visit The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, you may see some corroded “Rods of the Pharaoh” on display in the Egyptian section. The write up says some were made of copper and others of zinc and that they were filled with “desert sand.” They belonged to Pharaoh Pepi II, (2278-2184 B.C.) of the 6th Dynasty in Egypt's Old Kingdom; he was the longest reigning monarch of Ancient Egypt.
You may also have seen statues of ancient Egyptian pharaohs—at the Triad of Menkaura, the Colossus of Ramesses II, Nefertari’s Temple of Hathor, the Sun Temple of Ramesses II, to name a few—clenching such cylindrical rods in their hands.
What are these rods?
Until fairly recently, they were an archeological oddity with no explanation, so they were ignored.
What Are Egyptian Healing Rods®?
The Egyptian Healing Rods are healing tools from Ancient Egypt, retro-engineered by Russian scientists and then manufactured by the Russian company, Rods RU. Each set of rods consists of one copper and one zinc Rod filled with content specific to the model type. To reinforce their properties, gold is added to the copper rod and silver is added to the zinc.
The Egyptian Healing Rods are an awesome healing instrument. They balance and tone your energy field, dissolving energy blockages and expanding your consciousness in the process. They are a powerful catalyst for attaining your health and evolutionary advancement.
The Rods are not a panacea for all diseases, nevertheless, the greater part of human illnesses begin with a disharmony of two fundamental flows of energy—the BA (Yin) and KA (Yang). Since the Rods balance your Yin and Yang energetic streams you may be healed of diseases resistant to traditional methods. The Rods also stimulate and coordinate your endocrine, immune and nervous systems and harmonize your energy-information field.
In Ancient Egypt the fillings of the rods were different sized quartz crystals. Those sizes depended on the desired effects on the health and energetic system of the person working with the Rods.
Initially, fine-grained quartz (special white sand) filled the Rod set used by the novice. These Rods had a positive effect on a person's energetic streams by activating them. Later in the training, middle and coarse-grained quartz was used to achieve higher levels of abilities. This is similar to the Rods RU set called the "Rods-QUARTZ."
Higher–level initiates, such as pharaohs and priests, used Rods containing quartz monocrystals. (A monocrystal is a high quality crystal with a lattice of continuous and unbroken edges and with no grain boundaries.) This is similar to the Rods RU set named "Rods-CRYSTAL."
These Rods were made for masters of healing and create a powerful energetic shield around the priest. This shield acted as both an executor and transmitter of the signal from master's mind, amplifying the Priest’s intent to heal the patient by harmonizing his energetic streams.
In time, Rods RU went on to develop its own special models, the Rods-Kont, based on a detailed description in Kont Walewski’s manuscript, and the Rods-FREE, which are designed specifically to treat serious Yin-Yang imbalances.
History
Kont Walewski
Polish Kont Stefan Colonna Walewski, a famous collector and owner of the shop Esoterica in New York, was fascinated by these statues and the mysterious rods. As an initiate of the mystery traditions of the Caucasus Mountains, he had access to many secret teachings. In 1955, Walewski published a manuscript, The System of Caucasian Yoga. In this manual, not only did he recount his esoteric studies, but included information about the purpose of the cylindrical-shaped rods and the process of making them.
After years of research, he had discovered that the priests and pharaohs of ancient Egypt had used the cylindrical rods to harmonize the two main energetic streams, which ancient Egyptians called Ba & Ka. These female and male energies are now better known by their Oriental names, Yin & Yang.
The priests and pharaohs of Ancient Egypt used differently-filled metal cylinders to realize a step-by-step evolution of their psychic, energetic and physical abilities.
They used the cylinders to maintain perfect health. Once the physical and emotional bodies were stabilized, they could focus on expanding their consciousness, a necessary preparation for "Communication with the Gods."
Researchers & Manufacturers
In 1992, Valery Uvarov and his colleagues of the International Information Centre for UFO Research (IICUFOR), in Russia, started to investigate "The Wands of Horus,” as they called them. Within two years, Kont Walewski’s information on the process of making the cylindrical-shaped rods spread and articles began to appear in Russian publications about them.
In 1994, V. P. Kovtun, a physics teacher at the Lyceum of Pushkin, in Russia, found the manuscript and inspired a group of Russian scientists, including physician Svetlana Gorbunova, Serguey Gorr (a/k/a Sergei Gorbunov) and others, to create the Kovtun® Company. The Company consulted Egyptologists at various museums, as well as artists and sculptors to prepare for the cylindrical rods project. Both Kovtun and Uvarov popularize the rods.
In 1995, the Kovtun Company manufactured and trademarked the first rods as "The Cylinders of Pharaoh." They were copper and zinc cylinders, 150mm long and 28mm in diameter, containing a specially hardened powder-like coal in the copper one and lodestone (a ferromagnetic material) in the zinc.
Although Uvarov and the Kovtun Company shared information, Uvarov trademarked his Egyptian rods as the “Wands of Horus” and patented his designs in 1998. That year he asked the Kovtun Company to manufacture wands according to his dimensions (151.4 mm in length and 28 mm in diameter) and fillings specifications. These sets were meant to be given way to people to provide feed-back on their use.
However, Uvarov claimed that the Kovtun Company used his designs and sold them under various names, such as "Cylinders of the Pharaoh (Horus)", "Wands of Horus quartz" and "Egyptians' Rods–quartz" without his permission.
In 1999, Uvarov published his book The Wands of Horus in Russian; a second edition, in English and Russian, was published on the Internet in 2000. By this time Uvarov had parted ways with Kovtun and found another manufacturer for his wands.
That same year, the Kovtun Company trademarked their rods as the Rods-KONT, the Rods-QUARTZ and the Rods-CRYSTAL. In March 2001 the Rods-FREE were introduced.
In 2002, Valery Uvarov won a legal action against the Kovtun Company to prevent them selling product under the name “Wands of Horus.”
In 2003 the Kovtun Company changed its name to RODS.RU®
The Rod Fillings
All Rods are conditioned in a Phi-ratio pyramid located 300 miles outside St. Petersburg, Russia.
The Rods-Kont fillings are magnetic, while the other Rod fillings are crystalline.
The Kont Sun Rod filling is hardened coal (carbon), with a molecular structure altered in the same way iron is when converted into a magnet. When iron is magnetized, its molecular structure is altered by hardening the iron by heating it to a high temperature and then instantly cooling it by submerging it in water. When the iron re-crystallizes in a magnetic field, all the molecules are permanently aligned in one direction. The Rods-QUARTZ are filled with fine-grained quartz (white sand) and quartzites, (individual quartz grains that have re-crystallized along with the former cementing material to form an interlocking mosaic of quartz crystals).
The Rods-CRYSTAL are filled with quartz monocrystals. A monocrystal is a high quality crystal with a lattice of continuous and unbroken edges and with no grain boundaries.
It is the special property of quartz crystals to remember the framework or configuration of information when they are formed. This memory property can be enhanced by charging the crystal via a single source of energy such as heat, light, electrical or magnetic fields or torsion fields, such as those of a pyramid. The crystal can remember only as much information as it has edges. If new data is added then the old information simply disappears. But no external force is capable of actually changing the configuration once the crystal quartz has been charged.
The quartz crystals in the Egyptian Healing Rods have been enhanced by placing them in the special environment of a pyramid. In Egypt, the crystals were charged in equilateral triangle-sided pyramids. These pyramids instilled a stabilizing energy configuration by focusing energy inward to preserve and conserve energetic fields. Three thousand year old seeds found in such pyramids are capable of sprouting!
However, in this day and age of rapid evolution, preservation of the old or obsolete does not serve. The Earth is changing at such a brisk rate that we are being challenged to keep up. Today’s human being requires an energy field with the capability of changing as necessary to attain the next step in evolution.
Modern-day Egyptian Healing Rods fulfill this exact requirement for transmutation. They are manufactured in Russia, where the Rod's fillings are conditioned for twelve days in a 22-meter pyramid built by A. Golod on Lake Seliger, 300 miles from St. Petersburg. This pyramid has Phi-ratio isosceles triangle sides. The Phi-ratio (1.618…) mathematically represents the transformative pattern of growth and metamorphosis. This pyramid imprints a catalyzing energy configuration on the Rods’ crystals by focusing energy inward to transform and transmute energetic fields.
The Egyptian Healing Rods, and the Phi-ratio pyramid in which they were conditioned, are a single and inseparable entity, because the torsion energy fields are nonlocal. Together, they represent a technology of the 21st century which will allow us to improve our mental and physical abilities greatly.
Construction of the Egyptian Healing Rods by Rods RU
The Rods are a set of two hollow rods with specific fillings for each model. One Rod is made of copper for the right hand; the other is made of zinc for the left hand. The Rod construction is based upon designs in the manuscript of Kont Walewski.
The copper and zinc used for producing the rods are of very high quality. To reinforce their properties, gold is added to the copper rod and silver is added to the zinc.
All of the inner and outer dimensions of the Rods are produced according to the proportions of the Golden Section, i.e. the Phi-ratio. The Kont, Quartz and Crystal Rods are 144 mm long and 24 mm in diameter; the Rods-Free are 99 mm long and the same diameter.
To improve efficiency of the Rods, all of the components used in manufacturing the rods are conditioned inside the Phi-ratio Pyramid for a minimum 12-day cycle. This Pyramid creates a powerful structural field able to correct inter-atom distances.

More About the Rods
Working with the Rods enhances your memory, intuition, inner vision, and your immune system. The Rods are a proven means for the reduction of stress and fatigue and will increase the vitality of your body and increase its resistance to disease.
When you work with Rods, there is a harmonization of your two main energetic streams, "Yin” (female, receptive) and “Yang" (male, active). This balance stimulates a clearing of your power channels and a correction of your bio-field, and increases the efficiency of your chakras. As a result of this influence, you can be healed of diseases, some of which are normally impossible to cure using traditional methods. This is because the Rods operate holistically, stimulating not just a particular organ but vitalizing your being as a whole.
There are four kinds of Rods:
- If you have high blood pressure, stress, insomnia or joint pain then the ideal helper is the Rods-KONT, which are magnetic and work with the nervous system energy, "vital" force.
- If you tire easily, are under stress and pressure, have low blood pressure or require an increase in your vitality then the Rods-QUARTZ**.are best for you.
If you work regularly with other people (as a healer, teacher, etc.) holding the Rods-QUARTZ*** will return your vivacity and good mood in a few short minutes. Both the Rods-Quartz** and Rods-Quartz*** are "Chi Energy" and mental technology.
- If you are a Healer, Energy Worker, or study Qi Gong (Chi Kung), Yoga or other bio-energetic practices, then the Rods-CRYSTAL will help you most. Use the Rods-CRYSTAL as a tool for expanding your consciousness, resetting your energy and activating your latent capacities. The Rods-Crystal are "Chi Energy" and mental technology. Rods-KONT

The Rods-KONT, like the other Rods, are produced according to the Golden Section or Phi ratio. While in the Phi-ratio pyramid at Lake Seliger, the Rods are filled with the coal and iron, and imbued with the transformative energy configuration that is the nature of the Phi-ratio pyramid.
As a result, the Rods harmonize the energy-information field of a person and create a protective energetic cocoon. They act as a catalyst and activator of the latent healing capacities of a person. The Rods-KONT will always promote a deeper sleep, having a positive, relaxing effect on the nervous system. This influence can last for one and a half to two days.
The Rods-KONT set have a strong and forceful effect, which is capable of shifting chronic conditions. Hypertension is one of these, since the Rods lower blood pressure to your optimal level as defined by your genetic makeup.
If you have systemic low blood pressure ( hypotension) you should NOT use these Rods, because the pressure-lowering effect may be dangerous to your health. The Rods-QUARTZ set, with the quartz crystal filling, is much more suitable.
If you have no problems with the blood pressure, you may use both types of the Rods without any hesitation.
If you have diabetes, you should note there can be sudden changes in the glucose level (about 2 or 3 units) during your use of the Rods-KONT. If you are susceptible to diabetic coma, or are elderly, you must take precautions. Continued work with the Rods will promote stabilization of your glucose level.
Rods-QUARTZ

Initially, fine-grained quartz (special white sand) was used. The rods filled with white sand positively affect a person's energetic streams by activating them. Later, middle and coarse-grained quartz were used to achieve higher level of abilities. This set is the Rods-QUARTZ.
The sand and quartzites in these Rods create a soft feeling of being "present" in a pyramid, and this helps you recover your own protective field. This energetic shield is more stable than the Rods-CRYSTAL and helps prevent another's energy from affecting your vital processes.
After working with the Rods-QUARTZ set for one week, the improvement in your energetic field will be maintained for three weeks. They are very good for guarding against cardio-vascular diseases, nervous depressions and many other illnesses, but may prove inadequate against such conditions in the acute phase.
The Rods-QUARTZ set powerfully reduces stress. Rods-CRYSTAL

Both the Rods-QUARTZ and Rods-CRYSTAL promote health and increase energy. They also liberate and amplify mental and emotional energy, which act on sensory channels to create and manifest future outcomes. The Rods-QUARTZ set provide a more gentle effect and the energetic shield generated by them is more stable than the Rods-CRYSTAL. The Rods-CRYSTAL act more robustly on consciousness.
The Rods-CRYSTAL were used as a mental technology by ancient Egyptian Priests. They used them during a 22-year training for "joining the future." The records show the Priest held the Rods for about five minutes during the first hour after the sun reached its zenith (1 PM during standard time and 2 PM during daylight savings time). At this precise moment he "constructed the future" through a process of visualization.
The visualization process using the augmented mental and emotional energy of the Rods is supercharged. It allows you not only to focus your mind and heart, but also to actually enjoy the sensory reality—sight, sound, smell, taste, touch and/or proprioception—of that desired FUTURE. The images appear in full color and stay in consciousness as long as you desire. This amplification of energy and emotion facilitates the manifestation of any future you desire.
The Rods will intensify any visualization you do, whether it is perfecting your tennis serve, acing your certification exam or giving the best presentation to sell your product.
You may experience a mild prickling sensation and/or an exotic feeling of "expansion" in the field of possibilities when you first work with the Rods. In some people, there is a pulsation along the sutures of the skull as the energy intensifies in the sixth and seventh chakras.
For best results, users of the Rods-CRYSTAL should be highly qualified specialists of energy healing.
The Rods-CRYSTAL-Star, the next level up from the Rods-CRYSTAL are very good for group work under a supervision of a highly qualified specialist. Such a specialist usually develops his or her own methods of working with these types of the Rods.
When using the Rods-CRYSTAL* for work in groups the energy specialist should form a Man-Woman chain by holding hands. A man should be the first in this chain, holding a Sun (copper) Rod in his right hand and a woman should end the chain, holding a Moon (zinc) Rod in her left hand.
Rods-FREE (FLOWING)
In April, 2001, the company began production of a new type of the Rod called Rods-FREE. These are similar to the other Rod sets, except they are shorter, only 90 mm long. They were designed to correct serious imbalances of Yin (feminine) and Yang (masculine) energies, which appear frequently. Some people have an excess of Yin while others possess an excess of Yang.
In Ancient Egypt, when a person experienced energetic disharmony, with the Yin (or “Ba”) clearly dominant, he or she used only the copper Sun (Yang) rod held in the right hand to restore balance and harmony. In males, unbalanced Yin energy can lead to metabolic disorders, reduced sexual drive and a variety of other fairly serious disorders.
Today, it is better to use two rods at the same time for proper harmonization. If you have too much Yin, hold the Sun (Yang) Rod from the Quartz or Crystal set (which is larger) in your right hand and the Moon (Yin) Rod from the Free set in your left hand. This makes it possible to bring your Yang energy up to the optimal level.
If you have an excess of Yang (or “Ka”) energy (rather common in women), you may develop particular hormonal disorders. To correct this imbalance, hold the Moon (Yin) Rod from the Quartz or Crystal set in your left hand and the smaller Sun (Yang) Rod from the Rods-FREE set in your right hand. The use of a larger Yin and a smaller Yang rod produces the balance.
In either case, subsequent use of the Quartz or Crystal set will allow you to harmonize the two flows of energy.
You should only use these Rods under the supervision of an energy specialist, who will determine your level of imbalance and set the appropriate time limits for your working with the Rods.
Choosing Your Rods
Rods-Kont
This set of Rods is best for the person who is involved in day-to-day living and has not yet begun to explore his or her spiritual path. This set has a grounding and relaxing energy.
The ideal user is one who is looking to:
- Reduce high blood pressure
- Release stress
- Lessen insomnia
This person is less likely to start meditating in order to deal with these issues. He or she simply wants to relieve these symptoms of energy blockage. The Rods-Kont set gently increases the chi flow in the body, opens the energy fields, balances yin/yang energies and enhances the body's ability to heal itself. Once the energy flow of the body is restored, this person may become interested in exploring his or her consciousness.
Since this set lowers blood pressure, it should not be used by those with systemic low blood pressure (hypotension).
Rods-Quartz** [Note: The Rods-Quartz and Rods-Quartz* sets have been discontinued; the starting level is Quartz**.]
This set of Rods is best for the person who is just awakening to his or her spiritual path. It is also the alternative to the Rods-Kont for those who have systemically low blood pressure, which makes the Rods-Kont unsuitable.
The Rods-Quartz** set is both soothing to the body and gently stimulating to the intuitive energies. It increases the chi flow, melting away impediments to energy flow in the body like the Rods-Kont, but operating at a higher frequency.
Since the Rods-Quartz** set prepares the person’s energy system for expansion, it would be helpful if he or she were ready for this. It is best if the person is aware of his or her mental and emotional states and able to shift them to a milder level. This capability is important because the Rods amplify all emotional states-whether they are "positive," such as peace and joy or "negative," such as anger. They should never be used if the person's state of mind is other than peaceful and content.
The Healing Rods-Quartz*** set is an amplification of the Rods-Quartz** set, and thus more intense. This set of Rods is best for the person who has awakened to self-awareness and is more experienced doing energy work.
Rods-Crystal
This set of Rods stimulates the mental and intuitive energy, so these high frequency Rods may be uncomfortable for those who are not accustomed to meditation or energy work. It is best for healers, energy workers, and those studying Qi Gong (Chi Kung), Yoga or other bio-energetic practices. Such people tend to have clearer energy flow in their body. They are ready for the next level—expanding their consciousness, enhancing meditation and clarity and being more focused in creating their reality.
All Rods-Crystal sets require a person who is aware of his or her thoughts and feelings and is able to transmute them to higher expressions. This control is necessary because the Rods amplify all emotional states—whether they are “positive,” such as peace and joy or “negative,” such as anger. They should never be used if the person’s state of mind is other than peaceful and content.
The Rods-Crystal-Star and Rods-Crystal** are amplifications, or upgrades, of the Rods-Crystal, so they are more intense and require more control of consciousness. They are very good for group work under a supervision of a highly qualified specialist.
The Healing Rods-Connectivity set is an excellent choice for a healer or a person who is accustomed to receiving energy work and seeks to intensify his or her work with chakras 5-8. Like the Rods-Crystal, this set is both soothing to the body and stimulating to the psychic energies, only more so. It develops and enhances a person’s connection with his or her body-centered higher chakras (Throat, Third Eye, Crown and Universal Heart).
The Healing Rods Star of Consciousness set is an excellent choice for a healer or a person who is accustomed to receiving energy work and seeks to intensify his or her work with chakras 8, 9 and 10. This Star of Consciousness set develops and enhances your connection with your spirit-centered chakras (Universal Heart, Oneness of Source and Integration of Polarities).
Rods-Free (Flowing)
The Healing Rods-Free set is best for the healing practitioner to use on clients on a temporary basis, as it is used to restore the free flowing Yin/Yang energies when they are very unbalanced. This set of Rods is shorter (99 mm versus 144 mm) than the other Rods. They are also different from all the other Rods because the Sun and Moon Rods are designed not to be held in tandem; they are meant to be used independently of each other, but in partnership with another partial set, such as the Rods-Quartz or Rods-Crystal.
If the person is too Yin, the Free Sun (Yang) Rod is used with the Moon Rod of the Quartz or Crystal set. If the person is too Yang, the Free Moon (Yin) Rod is used with the Sun Rod of the Quartz or Crystal set. This is the only situation in which one of a set of Quartz or Crystal Rods is used separately from its mate.
These Rods should only be used UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A SPECIALIST who will determine the level of imbalance and set the time limits for working with the Rods.
How the Rods Work
Every living creature is surrounded by bio-energetic fields. This has been demonstrated with Kirlian photography and observed by the many people able to see the human aura. The aura is only one bio-field display; it is like the body, yet much finer and more subtle.
There are seven known bio-field shells, or nested energy bodies, around the body, including the etheric, emotional, mental, etc., up to the seventh energy body. The etheric body is nearest to the physical body; as the shells tier out from the physical body, and each shell is progressively more subtle.
However, there is evidence of several more energy bodies that were known to the ancient hierophants but not preserved in current records. The now-forgotten final energy body is the shell through which each person has direct contact with "God" or the "Source" of everything, all knowledge and energy. It links mankind to the Great Creative Principle, which includes the world around us.
The etheric body connects to the physical body through the seven chakras, energetic centers that allow the body to connect with the environment. The chakra, which means “spinning wheel” in Sanskrit, can be imagined as an energetic whirlwind or funnel. The energy of the five elements—earth, fire, water, air, and ether (space)—enters via the chakras into the physical body of a person. Each chakra corresponds to an endocrine gland in the physical body and is an energetic projection of that gland. Each chakra also has its projection on the palms of the hands and feet.
When the Rods are held in the hands, the human biological field is influenced through those projections in the palms. The crystals in the copper and zinc rods polarize, setting up a piezoelectric energy potential difference. This begins to activate the 6th and 7th energy shells, the 6th and 7th chakras, and their corresponding endocrine glands, the hypothalamus and hypophysis (pituitary gland).

You can use the Rods at any time of the day—morning, noon, or night.

- DO NOT shift the rods from the proper hands (the zinc must be in the left hand and the copper in the right one)

- You may feel a slight dizziness after the working with the Rods. In this case, lie down and relax. There is no need for concern as this condition wears off quickly.
- Mind your thoughts while working with the Rods, since they activate deep processes in your mind. The vital energy generated from working with the Rods magnifies any thoughts or desires so they become a part of your manifestation matrix, which greatly increases the possibility of the thought manifesting.
Contraindications
- DO NOT drive a car, pilot a plane or stand at the steering wheel of a ship when using the rods, because they create a meditational state and can cause sleepiness. Sleep is a natural result of the Rods influence on the nervous system and the person as a whole.
- People with hypotonia (low blood pressure) should not train too hard, especially on the threshold of stormy (geomagnetic) days.
